The public is kindly asked to note that the ambulance driveway leading from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s (QEH) main vehicular point of entry to the Accident and Emergency Department will be closed to vehicular traffic from Saturday, 25th, through Sunday, 26th January. This temporary road closure is to facilitate the repainting of the driveway’s road markings. The ambulance driveway will be reopened to vehicular traffic from midnight on Sunday, 26th January, 2020.

During this provisional road closure motorists are asked to enter and exit the Accident and Emergency Department through the hospital’s main exit located on Martindale’s Road. Additionally, motorists transporting passengers to the hospital’s main entrance will enter and exit the QEH through the customary vehicular entrance point on Martindale’s Road.

Security personnel will be on site to effect these changes to the flow of traffic.

The Board of Management of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital regrets any inconvenience caused, and we look forward to your continued cooperation as we strive towards “Getting Better Together”.
