Manger”.
Helping Hands, formerly Alpha Club of Wills Primary School, was founded by Alice George on September 1, 2005 to promote community service and fellowship amongst the students. The outreach programme helps those less fortunate, sick children and anyone that needs their help.
President of Helping Hands, Ethan Campion, shared with residents that throughout the years students have raised funds for many charities, and will continue to do so for many more years to come.
He revealed that their most recent fund-raising effort was for the Precious Touch Foundation, which grants wishes for terminally ill children. This year, after hosting a Halloween Masquerade event, Helping Hands of Wills Primary School raised over $9 000 for an eight-year-old whose dream it is to go to Disney World.
And yesterday, the students alongside teachers Shelley Roach and Beverley Williams ventured to Turtle Beach Hotel to serenade guests.
